The new Minnesota Ergonomics Statute, 182.677, became effective January 1, 2024.  It affects certain health care, warehouse distribution centers and meat processing employers.  This OSHA mandate can deeply affect those businesses that must comply.  Our recent article at HGExperts.com shows some of the challenges in compliance: The Minnesota Ergonomics Standard of 2024 – HGExperts.com

Call us to find out how to efficiently upgrade your ergonomics processes to match the new MN law’s requirements.  Our certified ergonomists are here to assist with all facets of the new Minnesota Standard.  We are already assisting meat processing facilities to get a head start on bolstering their ergonomics initiatives.

Mr. Huber also engages in ergonomics and safety projects across Minnesota, the U.S. and portions of Canada. He introduces wide-ranging, cost saving ergonomics solutions, machine design upgrades, safety audits, slip and fall controls, human factors design, product liability evaluations and training to control risks.

Diverse expertise fosters cost effective improvements in a wide range of companies and that experience continues with over 40 years of strength. Huber advises senior management and all levels of operations to reduce musculoskeletal injury costs and boost overall productivity, safety and efficiency.

SS&E developed the exclusive ExeLift™ back injury prevention training based on his experience as a nationally ranked Olympic-style weightlifter.  This is an education process, stimulating strong injury reduction performances.  One distribution center reported an 89% back injury reduction over a single year.  That benefit extends to businesses like national truck manufacturing, one of the world’s largest auto makers, major airlines, aerospace manufacturers and food producers, among others. ExeLift™ is most effective after senior management applies our design upgrades. Audience ratings of the program consistently post in the mid-90th percentile.

Are other legal, ergonomics or safety needs on your list?  Call us to discuss your challenges.  With our consultants’ 80 years of combined experience, we’ll be there.
